THIS WEEK Tigers played host to Silvan but unfortunately the under 19s had a forfeit just 20 minutes before game time while the seniors and reserves recorded big wins against under manned opposition. The 19s played a scratch match and there was no chance of bluey McKeown ending up on the wrong side of the ground this week as he did a fine job field umpiring. The reserves were never challenged winning by 131 points with Chris Whitchell booting 7, The seniors cruised to victory by 125 points - a 13 goal third term the highlight with the Hoegel boys booting 11 between them. Meanwhile in the social club 130 ladies enjoyed a fanatic luncheon with the highlight a spectacular performance from super girly - a great day was had by all so well done ladies . The boys weren’t to be out done has they had there Frat Party Saturday, nightneedless to say that went off with a BANG… Next Saturday we have the ball which is always the high light of the social calendar so please contact Michelle Lucas on 0411 707 591 for ticket booking.
Junior Finals continue NEXT WEEK with under 12s playing @ Ferntree Gully 10.55 am and the U15’s Heatherdale @ 2.30pm, would be great to see the senior club out supporting the juniors. Reserves Coaches Report
Saturday saw us against a side that has only won 3 games so far, our attitude and effort was the focus for the day along with playing a solid 4 quarters. The boys were great all day with our last quarter being the highlight as it would’ve been easy to drop off when we had a lead of 12 goals, to win by 100+ points we did what we had to do to get the job done. Whitchy again was super with 7 goals, our skipper Beags was terrific on the ball with multiple clearances, Dylan Wylde and Murph were also in our best. We have a huge 3 weeks ahead as we are playing 2 sides on equal points with us and Boronia this week who are sitting 5th on the ladder so they have lots to play for, I have every confidence in our group to continue on our form with getting the points this week. Well done to the Seniors to bounce back the way they did

Senior Coaches Report
This week we came up against silvan who are in a battle for relegation so we knew they would be up for the contest, we were looking to get back on track after a disappointing effort last week. Our first half was pretty ordinary with us getting beaten around the stoppages and making some poor decisions when we had possession of the ball, it was a very scrappy first half with both sides struggling in the tricky conditions. Our third quarter was much better, aided by a strong breeze we got on top around the stoppages, used the ball much better and started to play a more team orientated brand of footy, the result was a 13 goal to nil quarter. Our last quarter was also good out scoring them 4 goals to 1 against the breeze. Jayke Murray was fantastic at full forward and the 2 Hoegel boys caused havoc all day. Congratulations to David Searl on playing his 150th game for the club an outstanding achievement. Thanks to all the ladies who game down for the ladies luncheon and to all supporters who came out on a cold windy day, we look forward to seeing you all out at boronia next week.Good luck also to the under 12s and 15s who contiue their finals this week
