The Mitcham Junior Football Club is holding a family day on Saturday, July 5 in conjunction with the Senior sides playing Ringwood at Walker Park for the "Greg Pimm Memorial Shield". The "Greg Pimm Memorial Shield" game is held in honour of Greg Pimm (father of our superstar full-forward in the ones, Steve Pimm) who died during a game between the two clubs at Jubilee Park, twenty-five years ago. We will have our MJFC tent set up on the Dunlavin Road wing, with BBQ and drinks, as well as a jumping castle for the younger ones. Our AUSKICKERS will also play a grid game at half time of the Senior game. We want as many of the junior families to get along as possible and adults will be admitted for free if they attend with a child wearing a Mitcham Tiger hoodie (ENTER Dunlavin Road gate ) Come along and see a great game of local football and support the club that supports your kids.
The day Kicks off at 1pm, but for those wanting to get there earlier, the Under 19's kick off at 9.25am, the Reserves at 11.40am and of course the big one at 2.10pm. We hope to see you there at some stage during the day!
