B GRADE
OLINDA FERNY CREEK 19 VS THORNTON/EILDON 37.
Unfortunately another loss for Olinda.
With the addition of Brooke Northey to our attacking end giving us added focus, depth, and enthusiasm we were close to having a chance. However Thornton Elidon took the lead early and maintained it with experience and accuracy. It was another outstanding effort by the defenders and once again a strong consistent performance by the centre court players. Although the goalers were moving well, and working hard they were unable to keep up with Thornton Eildon.
A big welcome to Brooke Northey who will be a great addition to our squad.
With a week off a head we will endeavor to learn from our matches and learn new strategies and new moves in hope to pull of a win.

RESERVES
OLINDA FERNY CREEK 183 VS THORNTON/EILDON 16.
The welcome return of Tim Scott with his effervescent talking both before & during the game sparked the reserves side into highly spirited action against a hapless Thornton Eildon side.
The 27 goal plus victory was marked by a true team effort with lots of excellent running to space & accurate disposals. All players contributed well to the performance making it difficult to pick best players. However special mentions have to be made about the goal kicking sprees of Adam Borg (11 goals) & Russell Sloan (8 goals), whilst Simon Leone continued his excellent form in the mid field.
The Reserve side now know that they have capability of beating even the top sides if their commitment continues to grow.
SENIORS
OLINDA FERNY CREEK 133 VS THORNTON/EILDON 94.
Another win to the seniors on Saturday against Thornton Eildon at home.
On a pretty good day for footy we came up against a good side who have played off in the last 3 grand finals and we could really see the structure of this team and knew they could play footy.
Olinda got off to a good start with Patty Rosier pretty dominant early and Ben O'Neill getting his hands on the footy his fair share.
Olinda had chances during the day to put Thornton away but wayward kicking at goal and around the ground really took the scoreboard pressure off.
Broomhall, Tregoning, Rosier and Noorda were standouts all through the game along with Sean Grogan, Gazza and the brothers Reid.
Glenn Stevens was tireless through the midfield and his toughness at the footy was paramount against a big bodied opposition that were hard at the contest.
12 Individual goal kickers and Blake Walter with 5 again being a feature of the day and the down side being the amount of easy goals missed.
A week off this week, need plenty of numbers at training as games are tough to get.
We have around 7 players extra available this week for senior and reserves selection and already had 2 - 3 missing out.
