FOOTBALL.
The 3rd placed Saints travelled to Charlton Park last Saturday in windy but dry conditions. Both sides turned the footy over in the first term and scores were deadlocked at 1.1 apiece. Kicking into the wind in the second term we were assisted greatly by our backline with Josh McKee prominent along with Jack Thompson. Nick Richardson got himself into some dangerous spots and marked a couple of attacking balls and hit he scoreboard. Kain Robins also kicked an important mark and goal to ensure we took an eight point lead in at the main break. In the second half we dug in, led by Aaron Walklate, Kieran Sait and Snowy Roberts who continually won the hard ball and importantly, got the footy going directly down to Robins and Wellington who did the rest kicking 9 majors between them for the day. The Navies got their reward for effort and won by 51 points.
RESERVES
The backline held strong led by Will Fitzpatrick and Matt Thompson. Connor Lee ran all day and Joe Williams tried his very best. Connor Smith was another who battled all day. Connor Hooper presented well out of the forward line and brought a lot of ball to ground. The Saints were too strong and ran out comfortable winners.
