Rachel McCormack (Vick)
Rachel McCormack (Vick) joined the Kyabram Football Netball Club as at 15 year old in which she was a member of the B Reserve team as the under 17s competition didn't exist during this time. The following year Rach moved up to B Grade and has been a dominant player in this side for the past 10 years winning four club best and Fairest in the years 2003, 2005, 2011,2012 and league best and fairest runner up in 2002.
During her time at the club Rach has won two B grade premierships the first in 2008 were she suffered a serious ankle injury in the last quarter of the grand final which kept her sidelined for the majority of the 2009 season. She was also a member of the 2010 premiership side in which she played alongside sister Kirra. Rach then went on to coach the B Grade side in 2012 however stepped down the following year as she and her handsome husband Scott McCormack began to start their family in which they now have 2 boys Ryder and Hunter. Rach has returned to the club this year and again is a pivotal team member in the B Grade side.
Kirra Vick
Kirra Vick started playing for the Kyabram Football Netball Club in 2003 in which she was a member of the under 17s team. This was the first year in which the under 17s competition was introduced to the league and Kirra was part of the team which made history, winning the first ever premiership for this grade. Kirra continued to play under 17s the following year where the team went back to back winning a nail biting premiership.
Kirra didn't taste premiership success again until 6 years later in 2010 were she played in the B Grade team alongside big sister Rach which was certainly a highlight in her playing career. Kirra has continued to play B grade for the past 5 years winning the best and fairest in 2013 and now is a co-coach of the B grade side.
Kirra is an important person when it comes to the club, putting in countless hours helping the club off the court and was awarded best club person in the year 2011 at the age of only 22.
All the best girls in your 250th games we are very grateful to have you apart of this club.
