We are pleased to announce that Braedan Kight will captain the Melton Bloods senior football team in 2021, supported by Liam Carter and Jack Walker as vice captains.
Kight has been a loyal clubman for more than a decade. Having made his senior debut as a 17 year old in 2011, he’s now played in excess of 100 senior games at the club, been the Bloods leading goal kicker on multiple occasions, is a three time BFL Team of the Year member and a dual interleague representative.
Walker and Carter have both spent time at the Western Jets and Williamstown, but returned to their junior club and made MacPherson Park home on a permanent basis in recent seasons.
All three are dedicated footballers, fine leaders, and will be excellent role models for our playing group in 2021. The influence all three have had on the preseason so far is significant.
Congratulations Braedan, Liam and Jack.
