Other Reports

Gear / Uniforms.

It was discussed that a couple of teams may need some larger playing tops.

Some tops had missing numbers or were peeling off.  They were asked to bring those tops into QRS and they will either repair or replace the numbers if needing to.

It was also discussed that maybe the club needs to have all the gear bags returned to QRS office at the end of Winter and requests for larger tops that are needed be placed so that the gear manager with help can organize the new sets to be re stocked.

General Business

Barrie Meadows - We need to let the player know that they need to come to training if possible.

It was disappointing that there were only 5-6 players at training this week.  Normally there are usually 12 players.  The Giants have players turning 17 this year and it would be great if they could attend training. We know that most them have other things going on in their lives at this age but if they could come to training it would be appreciated.  As Rory Meadows won’t be able to play his basketball games due to his AFL commitment with the Swans.   Good Luck Rory!

It has also been suggested that if Barrie could attend a few more games of the Junior Boys basketball games at the Stadium as the boys really step up their game and appreciate Barrie being there.

Kay has also mentioned to us that Sutherland Stadium is looking really great and inviting since it has had the new paint job.  We can find them and ask the stadium for assistance.

Next Meeting

Meeting to be held on June the 16th  and have the new nomination forms handed in. Also, if there are any teams that need extra players, we can help find them and also ask the stadium for assistance.

Meeting closed 8.35pm.

Thankyou.
