Term 2 Meeting – Jannali Basketball                                                                                   3^rd July 2018

President’s Report: Kara is taking a break- no report

Treasurer’s Report:

Balance: $3350.54

$1156 came in –$596 2 x club fees, $120 shorts, Training fees $220

$2229.92 go out – Gym $1386, Warm Up Shirts $403.92, Matt’s Rego $150, Flowers $80, Winter Nomination - $210 (3 senior teams).

Money still coming in without description, making it difficult to know what it is for. Another email will be sent out to Managers asking them to put team name and description.

Some training fees not received. Kelly will send an email to the Managers

T1 – Jiants

T2 – Jaguars, Jiants and Jaegers

We will be collecting T3/T4 Training Fee in the first 3 weeks of Term 3.

Shorts – 6 pairs went out and 5 transactions (1x Jiants, 2x Jayhawks, 2x Jaws). Check with Megan to confirm this to be accurate.

No changes to teams from last report.

General Business:

• Gear Policy has been written and it is now on our website. This will be directed to the senior teams.
• Warm up shirts are not being visibly worn, a reminder to the teams that it would be nice for them to wear it while warming up at games and to training (if possible).
• Karen is coaching and managing the Jinks and Kara managing the Jazz with Paige’s mum being the coach however Matt Ismay has offered to coach this team.
• Quick Response received an order for wide elastic shorts so the Jaguars small shorts can be re-done. Shorts are on their way.
• U16 boys are growing tall – need to do a count for boys that might need larger shorts in the next 6 months.
• Peter Fisher and Kath Ismay have been taken off the Jannali Basketball Website.
• Barrie leaving for the States on 5^th July for 4 weeks. Training has been sorted with parents of other teams. No training in the school holidays.
• Suggested Bonnet Bay Soccer Club as venue for End of Year celebration. 2hrs hire would cost $160. BBQ facility available. Further discussion next meeting.
• Congratulations to Dianne re-elected and remaining on Sutherland Basketball Board.
