Rohan Wilson
Rohan has been at the club for 10 years. He has always been a quiet achiever. He is always at training (probably has attended the most sessions in team). If he is unable to play games, he still attends games to support the boys. He is a very steady player who has taken on a selfless role in the team for most of his games (post modified rules). During the grading of the U16 merged team in 2020, Rohan had the potential to be selected in the higher ranked team. However, based on his leadership and dedication to training, he was asked to captain the second team and he accepted.
He has been respectful to coaches and officials throughout his playing career. Rohan came to the club via Auskick so up to 12 years now since first running out onto Centenary Park. He didn’t have any friends from primary school at the club, as he came from Clarinda PS to be part of St Peters FC, but that didn’t stop him from being well liked by his team mates and coaches. He is always happy to help when asked.
Nick Madgwick
Nick, is a bright spark around the club & a good motivator who gets the boys going. He has played 9 years at the club and has pushed himself over the last 4 years particularly to be the best footballer he can be. He was happy to play as an undersized ruckman in earlier years and has played some outstanding football. He leads by example and with positive words for his team mates. The coaches know Nick will do whatever task they give him.
He worked at the canteen for 3 years. He embraced the merger last year and actively recruited new players to SPFC as well as contributing to the merged team guernsey. He also helped at Open Days and with set up and BBQ for club events.
