ATTENTION: FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES START THIS WEEK!
Our sincere Apologies if we have provided the wrong information to some of our members - Friday night games (U13's - U17's) are scheduled to start this week!
The 2018 Winter season will be the BIGGEST in the Varsity Vipers history as 31 teams will take the court in the Purple and Gold, the most teams we have ever entered into a competition!
GRADING:
This Friday will be the first of FOUR grading games that provide Gold Coast Basketball with information regarding each team and their allocated divisions. During the grading time, teams may be moved up or down divisions depending on results and team ability levels. After the first four games teams will be allocated their division and will remain in that division for the remainder of the Winter Competiton.

All players are to meet their teams and coaches/managers prior to their first games.
GAME DAYS / NIGHTS:
U9’s - U11’s play on Saturday mornings (First game March 3)
U13’s – U17’s play on Friday nights (First game Feb 23)
U17 Division 1 (Girls) play on Thursday nights (First game March 1)
U20’s play on Wednesday nights (First game Feb 28)
NEW PLAYERS / UNIFORMS:
New players an collect their uniforms from their Coaches or Managers this Friday night (Feb 23) prior to the first game. U20 & U17 Division 1 girls players can collect their uniforms at our Saturday Skills session or from their Coach or Manager at the first game.
COACHES & MANAGERS MEETING:
All coaches and Managers are required to attend our annual Winter Competition Coaches and Managers meeting this Thursday night at 6pm at the Varsity College Sports Hall where all player contact information and new player uniforms will be distributed. If a coach or manager is not available, a team representative is required for each of our 31 teams.
