Now is the time to Sign On for the 2018 Winter Competition!   We will be holding two trial days for all Winter Comp players for TEAM and division grading purposes – everyone gets a spot!

AGE GROUP TRIAL TIMES:Varsity College Senior Campus Sports Centre

 

U9’s: (2010 – 2011) – 8am

U11’s:  (2008 2009) – 9am

U13’s: (2006 - 2007) – 10am

U15’s: (2004 – 2005) – 11am

U17’s: (2002 – 2003) – 12pm

U20’s: (2001 + Earlier) – 1pm

 

 

The Winter Competition starts with a four week grading period commencing from February 28^th.  Due to Commonwealth Games impact to available venues, U20s will play on Wednesday nights, U17B and Open Girls Division will play Thursday nights and all other age groups play as usual on Friday night/Saturday mornings.  Round 1 of the official Winter Competition begins from May 2^nd and continuing to the Grand Finals on September 7^th/8th 2018.  The Season Calendar is also available on our website.

 

NOTE:  Members who are simply attending our Saturday Skills program and not playing in the Gold Coast Basketball Winter Competition do not need to complete the below registration. Further information on our Saturday Skills Program Membership will be available to you at our first Saturday Skills, which is SATURDAY JANUARY 27th. 

 

TEAM TRAINING:

Varsity Vipers Club train as a Club at our weekly Saturday Skills Program.  In addition to this, individual Team Trainings may be scheduled at the discretion of Team Coaches.

 

UNIFORMS:

New players to our Club are required to purchase the VARSITY VIPERS ‘NBA STYLE’ REVERSIBLE UNIFORM that is yours to purchase and KEEP!  Thanks to Zone Sports, we were the first Basketball club on the Gold Coast to unveil this fully reversible shorts and singlet set.

 

HOW TO ORDER:

In 2018, NEW Varsity Vipers players can “tick” and select to purchase their playing uniform – this ordering process is included in the Online Winter Competition Registration procedure (link below). We have uniforms ready for collection from our first Saturday Skills program on 27^th January.

 

Uniform playing numbers will be allocated by the Club to avoid age group and divisional number duplication.

 

In 2018, Vipers players will continue using online registrations and the total fee structure and inclusions for the 2017 Winter Competition are detailed below.

GET STARTED VOUCHERS:

VIPERS continues to participate in the Qld Government initiative - Get Started Program – with the next Round of voucher applications opening on 24^th January 2018.  If you apply and receive a Get Started $150 voucher – please present this to our Treasurer at Saturday Skills Program to complete further arrangements.
