2020/21 Summer Season Update
With the delay of the junior and senior winter seasons, Basketball ACT (BACT) have announced some changes to the structure of the summer seasons typically held from October through to December (Senior Premier) and October through to April (Junior and Senior Social). See below for changes:
Junior Summer
There will be no junior 2020/21 summer competitions due to the delay in the winter season running from July to December 2020. BACT have announced that after the conclusion of the current winter season, the next junior competitions will commence in March 2021. Further information on the revised format to be provided soon.
Senior Premier
There will be no senior 2020 Summer Slam and Summer Open competitions due to the delay in the winter season running from July to December 2020. BACT have announced that after the conclusion of the current winter season, the next senior premier competitions will commence in March 2021 as per the normal format.
Senior Social Summer
The senior social 2020 winter competitions ran a revised shorter 10 week season to allow for the 2020/21 summer season to be scheduled as per the normal format. GFBC is taking team nominations only for the senior social summer competitions.
