2014 Basketball ACT Junior Finals

Emotions will be running high from spectators, coaches and especially the players. Be prepared for the games to go up another level from what we have been used to this season. Everyone wants to win their Grand Final and will do whatever it takes to ensure that happens.

As referee’s we need to remember to continue refereeing the same way we have refereed all year. We have set a standard all year as referee’s and we need to continue this, just because it is Finals does not mean the way the game is refereed will change.

You may not have received the Grand Final that you were hoping to receive this weekend, but you need to remember that EVERY game is important. Support your fellow referee’s and do not be spiteful or disrespect them for the games that they have been rostered to. If you have an issue with the roster you may only discuss this with Jack Taylor and not with your peers.

Once again thank you all for your hard work this season and we look forward to seeing you all this weekend and cannot wait to see you all referee your Grand Finals.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
