Riding High After Round 3
A great 3rd round outcome for the club, with more points on the board than Quake to move us into 3rd position on the club championship table which is great, but its only round 3, plenty of games left to play.
It was great to see everyone playing to their best and even better to see the level of support provided to our AWD side... with the Phoenix players x2 - x3 the size of ours, the outcome was never really in doubt but this is only our first year in the sport and with such a young side, the potential is there for all to see.
With the Youth Men at full strength, if only for one week, the game was played at a furios pace from start to finish and the game could have gone either way but on the day, it was the UTS 'boys' prevailed.
First win of the season for the Open Women with the Open Men still looking for that elusive first victory and with such another close game, if only we had put away the chances that were presented.
