Dear Members,
After careful consideration of all the current medical information surrounding the Coronaviris situation, the committee at Bundoora Junior Football Club will implement the following positioning on all Club activities.
The Club will continue with any scheduled preseason training/practice matches until advised otherwise. Coaches/parents/guardians/players should be mindful of general hygiene and football hygiene as outlined by the AFL community and NAB AFL Auskick Guidelines on CONVID-19, and parents/guardians are reminded that any child that is feeling unwell should refrain from training/practice matches and other club activities immediately, see medical advice and where appropriate, and advise the Club of their absence.
All that are participating in any club activities are asked to bring their own water bottle to training and events in the interest of all.
We are closely monitoring the situation with respect to COVID-19 and are being regularly updated with reputable information sourced from the YJFL and AFL Victoria who are consulting with the Australian Government and World Health Organisation on the best advice for our football community.
As COVID-19 remains a situation with the potential to change rapidly, we will continue to update you as new information comes to hand.
As a parent/guardian you are welcome to decide against any form or participation in Club activities whilst COVID-19 remains a health risk to our community – please let us know of your decision.
Please stay safe
Paul Trapani
President
