It seems you don't fit in around the club unless you have a random tattoo these days. I'm sure we all remember Paul Crimmins' "Drive it like you stole it, Park it where you found it", along with Stu Clarke's anchor on his ass cheek, Bristles Bell's golden bell on his foot and Crogga's "Korn" from when he was a true heavy metal groupie. But on the weekend I noticed u18's Anthony Balchan had a smiley face on his arm. At first I thought someone drew on him at school, but when I sprayed him with water and rubbed it I realised he'd actually got a smiley face tattooed to his arm. YOU'VE GOT THAT FOR LIFE ANTHONY! TATTOOS DONT COME OFF!
Just to re-live the moment I thought I should highlight a few incidents from the reserves game. Soon after Mark Kendall's textbook falcon, the term "Brian's ball" was born. Standing by himself with nobody around him, Brian Bell screamed out "Brian's Ball!" as the ball was kicked towards him. He went to mark the ball but somehow managed to do what looked like a volleyball spike mixed with a star jump and inevitably spilled the beans
