The club celebrates three milestones tomorrow as we take on Lancefield at the GG.
Brittany Bowen plays her 50th A grade game this Saturday.
Britt came to us from the Macedon Cats in 2016 and has been a valuable member of the A Grade team since. Britt has played a key role in the centre court for the past 3 years in both the 19’s and the A Grade teams, concentrating solely on A Grade this year.
Fifty club games also racked up this week for two products of the Woodend Junior Football Netball Club in Liam Bianco (pictured) & Brandon Nicholls.
Both Liam & Brandon had outstanding junior careers regularly representing the RDFNL before progressing to the Seniors where both made their debut at 17-years of age.
Liam has played every game in the Seniors this year after missing all of last season with a knee injury and has been a good contributor all year both up forward and through the midfield.
Brandon returned to us this year after a year at Macedon and after an excellent season in the Reserves he was rewarded with a call up to the Seniors against Melton Centrals a couple of weeks ago and has been a solid contributor over the past few weeks in his return to Senior Football.
Congrats to all three and we hope there are many more games in the Brown & Gold to come
