Talking Point:
Woodend-Hesket: Round four saw the Hawks draw with Melton Central. With this knowledge, the A grade team is wanting to take this game and secure a win.
Last week:
Woodend-Hesket: A hard game against Rupo who shut down court space which effected the Hawks athletic game. Lessons learnt, with a reminder how they need to stick to their game plan and not default playing the ball into the opposition’s hands.
Melton Central: A hard game against Macedon. Talk around the courts is that they have recruited additional players. With only a 26 goal loss, Centrals have certainly improved .
Why are they going to win
Woodend-Hesket: Knowing that they should have won the round four game, Woodend will come out strong in defence and discipline in attacking. Sitting seventh on the 2019 ladder, the Hawks will fight every pass to keep that position.
Melton Central: With new recruits and sitting ninth, Melton Central will showcase their full arrange of defensive tactics to try and take this win.
Who will win: This is going to be a good game against two equal teams. Woodend to take this win by clearly playing a skilled, discipline game in defence and attack, reminding Melton Central and the umpires they are the better team
