Woodend/Hesket – Sitting now at three wins and three losses, the Hawks are looking to increase their wins in the next few weeks as they come up against teams sitting below them on the ladder.
Riddell – sitting just one spot below Woodend Hesket on the ladder having played similar teams to the Hawks in the first seven rounds.
LAST WEEK
Woodend/Hesket – held on to win by one goal against Wallan in a game where the Hawks played well for three quarters but the team still needs to work on playing consistently over four quarters
Riddell – went down 20-37 to Rupertswood one of the top sides in C grade this year.
WHY THEY WILL WIN
Woodend Hesket – back at home the Hawks play a strong defensive game applying pressure all over the court and know they will have strong support on the side lines.
Riddell – will be looking to negate any home ground advantage held by the Hawks.
WHO WILL WIN
Woodend Hesket will continue their winning form on the back of a strong game last week especially with Sarah Smith and Hannah Toman back in the side who add intensity in the defensive end and run through the middle.
