Woodend Female Football Football | Round 1 Wrap

The call out went out 12 months ago to see whether their was interest in girls football, and training commenced. At times 30+ girls a session and others just 2 but we had 12 months to see if female football could be something in Woodend.
Previously over the past number of years we have had 1-2 girls on our list.
Our Under 13s junior team and Under 18s youth team took the field on Sunday, April 28.
They all played with enthusiam, spirit and heart and most importantly had a blast!
