Murray Bushrangers TAC CUP Squad Announced

There are 27 local clubs represented within the 2015 Murray Bushrangers TAC CUP squad. The Murray Bushrangers today announced a squad of 41 players and a further 16 rookies that will represent the club in the upcoming TAC CUP season.

Talent Manager Lee Fraser was full of praise for local clubs and parents who provide a great environment that fosters the development of local talent “As a football club the Murray Bushrangers benefit greatly from the energy of our local coaches and volunteers who continue to produce talented footballers who are now ready to take the next step in their football careers”.

“We were extremely pleased with each player who participated in our pre-season program and whilst we cannot provide everyone with a place on the list we thank everyone involved in what was a challenging and rewarding pre-season program’

Fraser congratulated those players selected in what was a thorough list management process for the clubs coaches and match committee. Complimenting a tough pre-season under High Performance Manager Matt Glossop was a series of trial games against rival TAC CUP. These games have provided all involved with a clear understanding of what level of athlete and footballer that can play at the level.

“This year’s pre-season has been increased significantly and our staff is confident that all of players selected are physically ready for the challenges of TAC CUP football”.

“It is always an exciting time when talented hard working young footballers are given the opportunity to participate in the TAC CUP. But it is only an opportunity; it is now up to the players themselves to make the most of that opportunity”

The Bushrangers head to Yarrawonga this weekend for the PRE-SEASON camp, the clubs Season Launch & Jumper Presentation will take place on Friday 13th March.

The Clubs first game of the TAC CUP Season will be on Saturday 28th March against Bendigo Pioneers at the Benalla Showground’s.
