A fantastic opportunity exists at the Western Jets Football Club for a professional, driven and passionate individual to join the U/18 NAB League Boys Coaching team as Assistant Coach - Line Coach in 2020.
The role entails the following duties within the club;
Pre-Season
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Support and assist the senior coach with training drills as required and liase with player related skill acquisition.
In-Season
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Attend all games as required.
- Provide feedback to the Senior Coach on individual player performance in a variety of settings.
- Review weekly game footage and create team meeting edits using HUDL to educate and assess line performance.
- Provide individual player feedback via smartabase after games and create individual vision edits as required.
- Assist the Senior Coach in implementing individual development programs for all listed players.
- Support the senior coach as required.
Accreditation
- Minimum AFL Senior Level 1 Coaching
- Sound knowledge of the talent pathway system and previous coaching experience (desirable)
- Ability to work within a team environment and get the best out of the top talent in the western region.
- Working with Children Check
Remuneration will be provided to the successful canditate on a one-year honorarium (to be outlined).
