COVID-19 Update
Hi scorpion basketball family,
With the recent updates around restrictions being lifted I would like to make a couple of things clear.
1. We are still under the banner of Basketball Victoria so even though the government are easing restrictions for sport it doesn’t necessarily mean that we will be returning to training on day 1.
We will continue to keep you updated on things changing as we approach our return to play.
2. We are also guided by Kilsyth Basketball as to what return to play will look like and will have to align with their return to play strategy. This may mean new processes that need to be adhered to.
3. We will also as a club have a new way of doing things as we return to basketball especially training at the beginning stages.(more information to come)
4. If you are training outdoors with your mates during this time and keeping the social distancing rules then this is not organised through the club but by individuals and friendship groups. We have not released teams for the coming season so you can’t really have club organised training sessions however we would encourage everyone to get out and keep your skills up and be active.
I really hope we can get some more information out to you all soon with more information on how we will be returning to our beloved sport.
