2020 Champions. Lightning go Back to Back !!
In convincing fashion Lightning League women secured back-to-back Championship season titles for the first time in the Club's history.
In a season marred by injury, Lightning’s full squad finally came together during the finals and the timing could not have been better.
Finishing 2nd on the ladder, Lightning was first into the big dance following a 14 point win over the previously undefeated Jets.
Matching up again in the game that matters, Lightning doubled the margin in a clinical display of uncompromising defence and brilliant offence.
