Not since winning the '86 premiership has a Senior Men's team graced the oval at Jags. Well in 2017 that is about to change, with the AFLQ granting Jindalee a senior men's licence, the Jags will once again compete for a premiership cup in what is currently the Amateur B competition . The space for this team has been created mainly for the young blokes who have aged out of youth football and have not or do not wish to play senior football at another club, or for those that may have done that and simply wish to come home.
Information will be sent out via FB, web and email over the coming months but here is the major info you will need to know.
Jindalee are entering into what was the Amateur B competition (will be division 5 in 2017)
The competition is run on a Friday night (no Saturday or Sunday games)
The cost to join with Jindalee will be $375 (plus your shorts and socks)
A meeting will be held late October (dates to be advised) the first 32 to come to that meeting and place a deposit of $50 will be in the team.
At this stage training will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings. As Jindalee is predominantly a Junior and Youth club the team will be run under the same ethos and expectations as the Junior Football club. The past two seasons has seen our senior women's team grow from strength to strength and we feel that the timing is perfect to now add a senior men's team to our family. If you wish to find out more information or register your interest early, please email president@jindaleejags.com.au or call Corey on 0459 227 550 GO Jags and bring on 2017
