ABOUT MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY LACROSSE CLUB
Melbourne University Lacrosse Club was established in 1883 and is the oldest lacrosse club in Australia.
Our home ground is Western Oval on Park Street in Parkville, Victoria, Australia. We are the only lacrosse club in the City of Melbourne Council bounds.
We are the affiliated lacrosse club of University of Melbourne but you don't need to be a student to join us. We openly welcome experienced lacrosse players and new players alike to become part of the club.
We offer:
- Field lacrosse for men and women
- Field lacrosse for boys and girls
- UniLax Lacrosse Fives for students (mixed competition)
- U10 lacrosse powered by Quick Sticks (for children aged prep - grade 4)teams for men, women, boys and girls.
Melbourne University Lacrosse Club is a very social club with plenty of social events and activities.
CAN I PLAY LACROSSE?
YES. The lacrosse season runs from April to August and preseason training gets underway from February. If you haven't played lacrosse before we recommend you come to a training session and try it. Contact us on facebook for more information.

JUNIOR LACROSSE
We run a junior program in the inner Western and inner Northern suburbs of Melbourne as well as a high school based program at Melbourne High School. We field junior teams in multiple age groups for kids 10+.

TRAINING AND MATCH TIMES
The main training session for men and women is Thursday nights 630pm - 830pm at Western Oval in Royal Park, Parkville. Women also train on Monday nights 6pm-8pm at the hockey pitch at Melbourne University. Contact us on facebook for more information.

Seniors Competition Times
- Men's Division 1: Saturday 2.45pm
- Men's Division 3: Saturday 12:30pm
- Women's Division One: Sunday 1.15pm
Juniors Competition Times
- Boys: Saturday mornings
- Girls: Sunday mornings
