Chittering JFC are now accredited at silver level in the AFL Quality Club Program. The silver level accreditation recognises clubs with excellent procedures and provides stakeholders with a blueprint to measure their performance in terms of policies, risk management and strategic planning.
Chittering JFC President, Ian Hall said he was pleased with the progress his club has made in the past two years in terms of the Quality Club Program and expressed a strong desire to work towards meeting the requirements for gold level accreditation in 2013. “Chittering JFC is in a pretty good place right now with bronze and silver now behind us, but we won't be resting on our laurels, with the club already working towards getting gold level" said Hall.
Hall said silver level accreditation has opened a number of doors for Chittering JFC in terms of grants, sponsorship, player and volunteer recruitment. Hall said Chittering JFC was supported in the process of reaching silver level by Swans District Manager, Isaac Stewart and WAFC Manager of Clubs and Volunteers, Glenn Morley.
