The Ainslie Division 1 team came up against the undefeated Sydney Swans Reserves team in Round 9 of the Eastern Conference of the NEAFL League. The game was played in front of a good crowd at the Newcastle Sports Ground in slippery conditions due to light rain.
After a very competitive first quarter Sydney kicked away in the 2nd Quarter to open up a 34 point margin at half time. This was increased to 67 points at the last break. Ainslie played a good final quarter to win the quarter and reduce the margin at the final siren to 50 points.

The Division 2 side had a Bye.
The U18s played Marist at Ainslie Oval. After a competitive first half Marist kicked away to win by 78 points.

Ainslie 3rd Division lost a hard fought game against Harman by 15 points.

The Women's team had a comfortable win against Queanbeyan at Ainslie Oval.
