Senior Transition Squad
The Ainslie Football Club has established a new development program for young players between the ages of 15 to 21 called the Senior Transition Squad.
The Squad will consist of up to 25 players who wish to further their football knowledge and physical performance. Players will be taught through both physical practice and classroom type learning with the assistance of videos and whiteboards.
The Squad will be under the guidance of Senior player Robert Shirley. Robert has a lot of experience having played over 150 AFL games with the Adelaide Crows. This is a great opportunity for young players to improve their football. Robert will give each player individual focus points and training programs.
The program is designed to assist the young players in the improvement of areas such as:
A small group of players have begun training on Monday nights with a specific ruck group on Wednesday nights.
Ainslie would like to invite players between the ages of 15-21 to try out for the new program.

Time trials and skills test will be made available to any who wish to participate on Wednesday 8 and Wednesday 15 December at 5.00pm. The pre-Christmas training period is from Monday 15 November to Thursday 16 December. Squad sessions are on either Monday or Wednesday at 5.30pm.
