Thirds Match Report - Round 10
For the First quarter we had our standard start where the opposition had scored a goal in less then 30 seconds and had three goals on the board within five minutes. We took about another 10 minutes to settle and finished the qtr quite strongly with numerous entries into our fwd line, but once again failing to hold the ball in and capitalise on our opportunities.
Not a bad second qtr of football where we were holding our own and moving the ball quite well and running hard to create space and opportunity. Even though we looked to be playing a lot better, the performances were still very individual and our teamwork (1%ers) was still not there. With the effort that was being put in, if there had been even a 25% increase in our teamwork we could of kicked a couple of more goals, but at the end of the qtr we let ADFA kick two easy goals and gave them back the momentum.
A different team came out after half time and it was a very disappointing second half as there was absolutely no teamwork.
Summary
A very disappointing second half, as we had group of individuals running around trying to get a kick.
