Note from the Pres..
On behalf of all our members we wish our three netball teams the best of luck in the Grand Final this week. The A B and C team have had a marvelous season to date, all finishing on top of their respective ladders, however they are all acutely aware that come this Sunday, the season comes down to one game. I would encourage all our members to get down to the Sturdee Street Courts in Chelsea this Sunday from 11.00am, hope to see you all in attendance.
Our Football teams were not as fortunate, and will not be participating in the finals in 2012. However we are pleased to announce the reappointment of Troy Shannon as Senior Coach, and Mick McKay as Reserves Coach for season 2013. We are currently interviewing prospective coaches for our Under Eighteens position. Our Football department has been working very hard since the end of the playing season, with many interviews with potential recruits, as well as working with our junior coaches to ensure the continued promotion of our local talent. Looking forward we want to reestablish our club as a top of the table leader, with local talent predominantly being the strength behind our future success. We understand recruiting is an essential ingredient to future success, we will therefore ensure we actively recruit good ability and character to ensure our clubs future standing in the MPNFL.
So to all supporters of our great club, become members, get involved, we need the support of all Edithvale Aspendale people to ensure we can fight our way back to being a force in the Peninsula. Please ensure that you support our final functions for season 2012
