Football Queensland (FQ) has today released updated Return to Play guidelines for Stage 5 of the Queensland Government’s roadmap to easing restrictions.

The updated Return to Play guidelines will help clubs, participants, coaches, referees and all Queensland football community members to understand their responsibilities heading into the 2021 football season.

FQ advises that these updated Return to Play guidelines for Stage 5 contain minimal changes from the Stage 3 guidelines, which were published in July 2020 and remained in effect at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

However, all clubs, participants, coaches, referees and football community members must read the Return to Play guidelines to help safeguard the health and wellbeing of the football community and wider public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

FQ’s Return to Play guidelines align with the Queensland Government’s Return to Play Guide and the approved COVID Safe Industry Plan for Field Sports.
