Dedication ceremony for John Ebeling Admin Centre
The remarkable contribution to Bundaberg football of life member John Ebeling will be recognised in a special ceremony at Martens Oval on Saturday morning.
John held official positions with junior and senior soccer in Bundaberg continuously from 1981 until 2007, devoting thousands upon thousands of hours to ensure the smooth running of the associations.
The offices and meeting room area upstairs at Martens Oval will be officially dedicated as the John Ebeling Administration Centre on Saturday in recognition of his dedication and service
John served as registrar, publicity officer, secretary and president of the Bundaberg Junior Soccer Association and Bundaberg Soccer Federation, usually holding roles with both at the same time.
He was also heavily involved with the talent identification series run annually in Bundaberg and was president of Wide Bay Junior Soccer and a delegate to the Queensland Junior Soccer Council.
Football Bundaberg invites those involved with John to attend the ceremony from 11am. Those planning to attend are requested to email femia12@bigpond.com or tominich_7@hotmail.com for catering purposes.
