MUFC - Junior news

The Bulls are of and running for the 2013 and new and old players are welcome to return to the club as season preparations kick of this Thursday night. the club has refocus its attention on the local junior and senior player development streams with a number of new competition format and coaching and player developments to be implemented over the coming month.

"There are defiantly some exciting times ahead, it is a chance for new members to get involved and look to build a new foundation for the club" Srhoj stated.

As well as on the field, it is of it where the club is urging members to get of sidelines and get into the game, put their energy and ideas into building a new and exciting future for the club."There are a couple committee members who after years of giving their life to the club, are looking to step back from the limelight and offer the opportunity for new members to step forward join the management committee" srhoj stated. " They don't have to be president or secretary, but even smaller operations such as organizing carnivals, coaching development courses, player development programs, mowing, stocking the bar, looking after the website, plenty of hands make light work" Srhoj commented.

Though there are possibly some changes to the competition format, the club will not be able to make a decision on any direction until there is a clear indication of numbers. "Unfortunately it is not going to help with members sitting on the fence and waiting to see what happens, the club needs players to register, if after which the competition format does not suit a particular member, registrations can be refunded, but the club needs numbers first". Srhoj stated.

The local FNQ football federation is looking to implement new levels of competition at all grades, looking to give social and competitive players all the opportunity to play more football, inter-zone tri-series and more club carnivals are just two of the new incentives to give kids more opportunity to play the sport.

Training will start THURSDAY afternoon from 5pm, with new players welcome to please "just turn up" and former players asked to contact their old coaches and just turn up also.
