Southside Comets Premier Women's team win 8-0 over JCU Strikers in Round 1 of Season 2017

Both Southside Comets Men's & Women's teams do a repeat of 2015 and win the Stratford Cup (the longest running Senior football carnival in Queensland) going through undefeated over the weekend!

Stratford held on to win 1-0 over Southside Comets and qualify for the FNQ Football Premier Mens Grand Final

Southside Comets Premier Mens, Premier Womens & Premier U18 teams all playing for a spot in the Grand Final in the FNQ Football Preliminary Finals at home at Petersen Park!

Southside Comets to field a drastically different premier women's squad this season after the departure of some key personnel to Brisbane.

Our very own Southside Comets Premier Ladies team played a game against the Ghana U20 National women's team "The Black Princesses" at Endeavour Park in Cairns on Saturday 5th January 2016.

It's official... Chris Collins has been appointed Club Technical Director and Head Coach with Ryan Bidgood also confirming his return to continue his excellent work with our Women for season 2016!

We are excited to announce that the Walker Road Sporting Precinct (next to the Edmonton PCYC) will be the future home of the Southside Comets Football Club!

A NEW playing structure and a renewed culture will be the focus of Southside Comets this season after the club unveiled its new premier league football men’s coach.

Comets have been granted four new portable grandstands for our home ground, worth approximately $25,000.

After struggling to find a new committee, Centenary Comets Junior Soccer Club lives on to fight another day after several of the club's parents volunteer to help run the club.
