Coaching a team at times is a real roller coaster but by coaching a junior team you are unselfishly helping to enhance the lives of children in our community.

All coaches must be registered either on SportsTG with Altona or Werribee Basketball Stadium and have a working with children’s check.

Next step you will be required to get a passport photo. After this please take both the photo and working with children’s check printed form to Australia Post to lodge, as this is a Volunteer position the only fee will be the cost of the passport photo. Please retain your receipt and you will be reimbursed.

To help with your coaching, the club will provide you with a gym bag that contains an appropriate size ball, coaches training board, a whistle, a small first aid kits with icepack, either a hoodie or a zip up jacket, a polo shirt and hat.

The coaching kits remains the property of the club and if you leave you will be required to return all items excluding the clothing.
