This weeks game was at home against the Saratoga Hawks. With new team Jerseys the kids looked really smart out on the field.
The team is really starting to work together now with some really good team work in passing to each other. We now have 14 players listed and it makes for a good confidence boost for the whole team. To even the numbers up we gave the Hawks two of our players each quarter. All the kids put in an effort.
Goals scored went our way with the Hawks scoring a few as well. Tackle of the day went to Beau even though a free kick was awarded against him we just need to fine tune his technique a little. Player of the week was awarded to Lochiel. Once again an excellent effort by all the kids in the team with all finishing the game with smiles and no tears.

Not so much a team, more like an army. The numbers are growing as are the skills. We are progressing well and the team have grasped the whole idea of being front and centre, taking the mark in front and putting their body on
the line to take possession of the ball - well done its all coming together.
In sharing the role of captain young Cameron took the reins and lead the charge, leading by example in everything he tried. Jye and Toby also stepped up and displayed their true potential. Although a forfeit by Saratoga who had some good young players we supported them by a rotation from our side and were congratulated for their effort - always giving their individual best not matter who the opponent. This was highlighted by Jaleel kicking his first goal but unfortunately for Saratoga. Good effort by all.

Well what a different game we started a bit slow in the 1st quarter due to not playing in two weeks, 2nd quarter we started to play better but still a little rusty, at the end of the game we were playing much better football with a good result. Great work Tyler for helping your team mates on the field. Best on ground this week was David, Jayden and Haydn A special thanks to, Lachlan, Billy, Paul, Ralph and Hooch for helping.
