The boys had a slow start against a determined Terrigal side boasting the two leading league vote-getters and leading goal scorers. By mid-way through the second quarter, the Blues were starting to get on top and held a narrow one point advantage going into half time. Good pressure and tackling all over the ground were the features of the Blues performance to this point. After half time the Blue boys exerted their dominance winning plenty of ball and moving it forward quickly to open up a good lead going into the last quarter and then not letting Terrigal back into the game.
The great team effort was emphasised by 11 individual goal scorers for the 15 goals. Jason Cleaver, Luke Rawnsley, Josh Nesbitt, Anthony Stewart, John Burns and Owen Dawes were prominent in a good team effort.
The Blue boys will have to up their intensity even further in the decider and improve their finishing (24 behinds is not premiership winning form!) to get over another strong Cardiff outfit. But, they can do it!!
GO Blues!!!!!!!!!!
