Quasquicentennial - What the... you may be thinking. Well as you may or may not be aware the Newcastle City Australian Football Club was established in 1883. This means in 2008 the Club will be celebrating 125 years - a Quasquicentennial, pronounced kwos-kwi-sen-ten-e-al.
It's basically a 125th birthday bash for the great Club so expect a committee to be formed to spearhead the various celebratory events throughout the season.
You will be hearing much more about the "Big Q" as plans unfold. There will be lots of opportunities for you to become involved and make the year one to remember. So be sure to stay in touch through the website!
