MINIROOS KICK-OFF PROGRAM 2025

Our Mini Roos Kick-off Program is for children aged 3-5 and not yet at primary school.

For those children who have turned 6 or are turning 6 before August, you can register online to play under 6s or 7s at St Christopher’s this year - click here to visit our registration page.

 

St Christopher’s Football Club (Saints FC) is accredited by Football Australia (FA) as a Mini Roos Kick-off Program Site.

Alternatively visit St Christopher's Clubhouse (cnr Marco and Homelea Ave Panania) on 15th February 2025 from 10am to 12pm and register with our help.

 

Note: Program is limited to 80 players.

There will be a meet & greet evening at Marco Reserve on Wednesday the 9th April at 6:30pm. At this meeting teams, coaches & team coordinators will be finalised and hopefully all the uniforms and player’s packs will be handed out, so your attendance is required.

 

COST:

$90.00

This includes players pack (which will be sent to you directly by Football Australia), shorts, socks and playing shirt. 

 

DURATION:

12 Saturdays commencing Saturday 26th April and finishing on Saturday 26th July.

The program will not run on Saturday 7th June (Kings birthday long weekend) and Saturday  12th July (the middle of the July school holidays). These dates may be used as additional catch up dates because of cancellation / washouts.

Note: The finishing date is dependent on the number of washout weekends we need to catch up on. The 2nd & 9th August have been allocated as additional dates for catch-up because of cancellation / washouts.

 

WHERE:

Marco Reserve located at the cnr Marco & Homelea Ave Panania.

 

WHEN:

Saturday Mornings at 9.20am (approximately 1 Hour)

 

REQUIRED:

Shin Pads must be worn. Football boots are optional but are advised.

Both are available from Rebel or Amart.

 

FORMAT:

• 8 Teams (Depends on total number of registered players but with max 10 players per team)
• Season Draw all teams to play each other at least once.
• Training Drills (30 mins) followed by a small sided game (7 mins each way with 2 min half time break)
• Two teams each week from the draw will be trained by myself or another certified coach for the first 30mins.
• Each team will have a team coordinator and a coach or coaches (volunteers from Parents)
