Round 6 Wrap Up
Good week end for our Teams, as Scoop gets around the press boxes of the Locals
U9’s Away to Bundoora. Long week end and a few sick saw a depleted side take to the field. Short in numbers, but big on courage. Scoop must brush up on the MiniRoos rules, some where a real mystery on Sunday game. Maybe they are on YouTube?
U12’s Lost 3-0 Away to Heidelberg. Tough away gig. It’s real hard to play when the opposition are quoting poetry in your ear all game right? Great effort against a fast and skilful team, that didn’t exactly run away on the score board.
U14’s Won 3-2 Away to Banyule. Good result against a local Team. Some good football being played by this team, and considering Nick and Ethan were away, a very workman like performance to take the points.
U15’s Won 5-4 at home to Light United. Great to see Archie in the line up! With Connor away the defence had to reform and play a different style. Big Josh chipped in with 2 goals ! For Light United ! Next week Josh will wear a GPS unit. Still, the points go to Nillumbik.
