Round 2 Wrap up

U9’s at Home to Redbacks. Scoop was really impressed with the team effort on such a miserable day. The boys had the work cut out with a very experience opposition (in the joeys!), and matched Redbacks for the whole game.
U12’s Had a bye.
U14’s Lost 5-0 at Home to North City Wolves. It was one of those games; who ever scored first in the rain and wind was going to win. Great credit to the team, the second half was terrific with plenty of near misses on goal and great defending. Third on the ladder after two rounds is a great result.
U15’s Lost 2-0 away to Preston Lions. The Boy’s were getting on top and the home team calls on the U14 A side for reinforcements. Scoop nearly choked on his continental sausage when two Preston Players took the field without numbers on their backs! A close game, against one of the better teams in the league.
