Round 12 Wrap up

Round 12 was the right stuff – Nillumbik at Home.

U14 Boys won 4-1 at home to East Kew. This is what the crowd came to see, and the Boys did not disappoint. Big turnaround from the last encounter, Nillumbik dominated with a capital D. Owen made some fine saves when called on, but had a quiet day as the ball was mostly in the East Kew half.

U13/14 Girls lost ##-## at home to U13 Boys. Both Teams impressed, but the Boys took the honours. It was pride on the line here folks, and I’m sure the boys will be real heads on sticks at training! Ben won Player of the match and gets to keep the Inter Club Trophy for two weeks. This will sharpen the Girls, who are looking for a finals berth this season.

Small Sided was very impressive.

U8's played at home to Moreland. Has this team got talent or what! Scoop watched a string of passes from the Boys to keep possession and put pressure on. Boys had a red hot go, well done.

U10's were home to Whittlesea. Scoop though it was a robot team! Drilled passing, clever ball movement and moving into space. Load the computer program and go!

U11's were home to Yarra Jets. Last time the Team got touched up, this time they dominated for large portions of the game and took even honours. Yarra Jets adjusted in the second half, but their Play Maker from last time was shut down by a committed Nillumbik. Well done!
