Round 5 Wrap Up
All Teams and home this round, with some great results.
U9’s Home to Clifton Hill. The boys came out from the blocks, controlled the game and rained down with goals. One fact that Scoop didn’t miss was how the ball was kept in play, with very few throw ins for the whole game. This was a real sign of passing and running into support.
U12’s Won 7-0 Home to Clifton Hill. What a performance, Julian and Campbell feasted on good passing and took their opportunities and got all the goals! Scoop was impressed with the level of passing and team work.
U14’s Won 5-3 Home to Oak Park. A real contest, take nothing away from Oak Park players. The boys took the points by sticking to the game plan and producing some terrific strikes on goal in both halves.
U15’s Lost 1-12 at home to Heidelberg. The boys got towelled on this one by a team that dropped down from Division A mid week. The boys tried hard and took some fierce tackles. Captain’s goal from Josh.
