Club Info
Welcome to Williamstown Soccer Club!
We strive to ensure the Junior Club is welcoming, inclusive and somewhere our kids can develop a healthy lifestyle through exercise, find their place within the dynamic of the team, extend their soccer skills and make good friends.
We welcome interaction between Junior and Senior arms of the club, with Senior players coaching some teams and Juniors coming along to support the Senior team. Don’t be shy and come down and experience the atmosphere when our seniors play on a Saturday afternoon. The drinks are cold and the Cevapi is hot!
Oh - and did we mention we serve the best Bacon & Egg roles on a Sunday morning?
Williamstown SC is run by unpaid volunteers and everyone involved is here to ensure the club is run with care and family values at it’s core.
Our coaches are focussed on developing skills and will be working through the FFA’s National Curriculum during training throughout the season.
We hope to provide a club structure where players can join from a young age and understand the progression through the club. Several of our current seniors have been with the club from a young age.
As something new in 2016 we took part in the B-League for vision impaired. Not only did we take part but we were crowned the inaugural B-League Champions.
We also introduced Fit Football. Fit Football focuses on providing the fun and health benefits of being involved in sport, you don’t even need football skills! The program will be delivered in short, sharp sessions of 45 minutes on Thursday nights from 6pm (While the Juniors are training.)
For us the social element is important and we will continue with Pasta Night in the canteen after training on a Thursday. Don’t forget to look out for the usual events during the season such as Comedy Night, Family Fun Day and Ladies Day.
