Result of AGM 18 October 2912
Williamstown Soccer Club held its Annual General Meeting last night. Sadly due to work and personal commitments Mark Gvozdic resigned as President. Roger Corry was nominated and appointed to take over as President by all members present.
The Club would like to thank Mark for his time, effort and dedication during his time as President and welcome Roger as new President. A further meeting has been called at 7pm on Thursday 25 October to elect Committee and Sub-Committee members.
Roger said “I feel honoured to be asked to fulfill this role and recognize how important it will be to seek advice and support from long standing, experienced members of the Club and encourage newer members to become involved. I hope I can help the Club grow through strengthening the Juniors and building on the strong results achieved by the Reserves to help our First Team to successfully compete for promotion in the forthcoming seasons.”
The Club hereby would like to invite all members and associates of the Club to next Thursdays meeting and if you cannot attend but wish to get more involved in the running of the Club, please let us know by emailing hodge.carol@abc.net.au or calling Roger on 0404 284 800.
