Some lucky members of the Kyneton Soccer Club under 12 and 14 girls teams have had the opportunity these last two weeks to be part of the Melbourne City W League games as ball girls, flag wavers and halftime Mat bearers.
The Melbourne City Women’s team currently sit 5th on the National W League table, and excitingly for the Kyneton girls they were on the sidelines for a 4-0 win over the Newcastle Jets at CB Smith Reserve, Fawkner.
This was a fabulous time for the girls and they thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity.
The U14 girls start training this coming Thursday 24 January from 5.30pm at Barkly Square, and the U12s from 5.30pm on the 21st February. All returning, new & interested players more than welcome.
