Several years ago we set up a racing syndicate with a generous opportunity from CJ Cassar Racing.   The horse (Hippi) had a few runs, but ultimately was sold (moved on from the stable).

Cassar Racing has again offered a new opportunity to the club, this time in a ready to race horse he purchased late last year - Costa De Hero.   (This fella does not need to be broken in or taught how to race) Charles is expecting this horse to have his first run for the stable by the end of April (He came back into work from a spell a little over 3 week ago).

This opportunity will operate the same as the first opportunity (and details of this are listed at the bottom of the email).   The timeframe for the venture will be 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017.

Note:  CJ Cassar Racing also has a facebook page with information on all horses.  It is closed group, but look for it on facebook under Cassar racing Stable and request access.

If you are interested in getting into this venture, please reply ASAP advising so.  Half the spots have already gone to previous syndicate members and it will be a first in best dressed approach.    Payment of those getting involved needs to be made by Wednesday 23rd of March so we finalise the syndicate paperwork.  If you reply that you are interested, I will send details on how to pay.    

ALL THE DETAILS

C J Cassar Racing Stables, a family business has graciously offered to support the club by sponsorship

Cassar Racing will: 

• Donate a 5% share in a thoroughbred race horse - Costa De Hero (4yo - 3 starts, 1 placing)
• Paid all expenses for the career of that horse while trained by their stable.
• All prizemoney will go to Kyneton Soccer Club.

This is you opportunity to be involved in a racehorse.  The club is offering 20 syndicate opportunities at a cost of $100. (From the Period of 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017)  (No other costs at all)

How it will work:

• 20 Syndicate spots at a one off, cost of $100 (Donation).   Any set up costs agreed with Charles will come out of this collection, the estimated remaining $1400 going towards the fundraising and subsidy the club provides to the real cost of putting teams on the pitch.
• The horse - Costa de Hero will race under the syndicate Name of "Rangers Racing Syndicate"
• All prize money won by the syndicate will go towards the club.

What's it is for Syndicate Members

The payment will entitle the members to:

• Full Syndicate Member - Race day Privilege's
• Inclusion on your name on the Club Website are part of the Clubs Syndicate
• The enjoyment of having an involvement/interest in a Thoroughbred Racehorse
