Barkly Square Pavillion
As most of you are aware the club has for a long time been working with the Macedon Ranges Shire toward the construction of new changeroom facilities at Barkly Square.
Last night Lance, Ros, Tracey, Kim and myself attended the Ordinary meeting of Council at the Romsey offices to hear whether the council would proceed with the building.
I am pleased to say that the go ahead was given for the Pavillion and this morning the tender documents went out to the successful builder. With everything now going well, we should see the start of the building works commence in the upcoming weeks.
This has been a very lengthy process and I would like to thank everyone involved for the support they have given to this project, including the Shire councillors and officers who have made sure this project went ahead.
The building although not being ready for this year, will be ready for the 2014 season and I hope that when completed we will have a facility that we can all be proud of.
Yours Sincerely
Ron Cole
President
