SURF COAST FC JUNIOR KNOCK OUT COMP

**For the attention of all Coaches and Team Managers**

We are looking to invite teams to participate in our 1st Junior Knock Out night comp for 2014. We believe that to produce better players we should encourage all players to play as many games as possible as that is what they all enjoy the most.

The aim of these games is to encourage all non NPL teams to participate and to assist in improving the standard of football in Geelong.

As a result we aim to run our night comp on a Tuesday and Thursday evening throughout July. Playing matches under lights on our new grass pitch with the highest quality lighting in the entire Geelong region.

The night comp will be open to all Non NPL clubs and the games will be run for the following age groups- U/12 boys, U/13 boys, U/15 boys and U/14 girls (4 teams per age group).

The structure for each age group is as follows:

Preliminary Round:

• Tuesday 15th July U/12 boys 5.30 ␣ 7.30 p.m
• Thursday 17th July U/14 girls (full pitch) 5.30 ␣ 7.30 p.m.
• Tuesday 22nd July U/13 boys 5.30 ␣ 7.30 p.m.
• Thursday 24th July U/15 boys 5.30 ␣ 7.30 p.m.

Finals:

• Tuesday 29^thJuly (U/12 and U/14 girls)
• Thursday 31st July (U/13 and U/15)

All games will be played with 2 x 25 minute halves and FFV rules to be applied. Referees to be supplied by Surf Coast FC and the cost for each game to be $20 per team. Teams will only need to supply a linesman each.

No trophies will be awarded but the winner of each group will receive an equipment pack for their club. 

All games to be played on the new Surf Coast FC grass pitch, next to the current synthetic pitch at Banyul Warri Reserve, Torquay. The Surf Coast FC canteen will be open during the event.
